In personality assessment there are two distinct types of measures: objective tests and projective tests. Objective tests, or questionnaires, are completed by the person being tested. The items are presented in a straightforward manner and their content is obvious. Projective tests attempt to assess a person’s feelings by examining how he/she projects his/her emotions onto largely neutral stimuli. Among the tests we most often use are:
