Para evaluar las habilidades cognitivas generalmente usamos el WISC-IV, que es el examen más usado y probablemente la prueba más aceptada de cociente de inteligencia (CI). Suplementamos esta prueba o, en algunas ocasiones, otra prueba de CI, con sub-pruebas de otros exámenes que nos ayudan a explorar las áreas de fortalezas, debilidades, y/o deficiencias de su niño/a.
